Joseph Magaro, M.D.
Dr. Joseph Magaro is a Board certified Ophthalmologist and has been practicing in Bronxville for over twenty five years.
A graduate of Columbia University, Dr. Magaro went on to receive his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine.
He then completed an ophthalmology residency at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Infirmary, as well as a retinal fellowship.
Dr. Magaro went on to discover a passion for treating anterior segment diseases of the eye, such as glaucoma and cataracts,
and worked to build a practice providing comprehensive eye care to the community.
Fluent in Italian and French, Dr. Magaro currently practices as a general ophthalmologist with a broad range of services
and continues to strive to keep his practice up to date with the newest diagnostic technology and treatment options.
Audell W. Ray, M.D.
A Vassar graduate with a degree in medicine from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons,
Dr. Audell Ray has been practicing in Bronxville for many years, caring for the community and relating to her patients
on a personal level. Dr. Ray is a general ophthalmologist giving the latest care and treatment to her patients.
Using cutting edge diagnostic technology, Dr. Ray performs comprehensive eye exams and treats diseases of the eye
ranging from refractive errors to glaucoma and cataracts. Dr. Ray’s patient base ranges from young children to a senior
citizen population. Board certified in ophthalmology, Dr. Ray trained at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.
Christopher D. Brown, M.D.
Dr. Christopher Brown joined Bronxville Eye nine years ago. A graduate of John Hopkins University,
Dr. Brown received his medical degree summa cum laude from Boston University and went on to do a prestigious ophthalmic
residency at Wills Eye Hospital in Pennsylvania. Dr. Brown then continued his training with a refractive surgery
fellowship at the Vision Correction Center of Kansas City, where he served as Staff Surgeon. A board certified
ophthalmologist specializing in refractive and cataract surgery, Dr. Brown utilizes cutting edge techniques and the
newest advances in visual restoration. Routine eye care, diagnostic and medical management of glaucoma, strabismus,
corneal disease, and laser therapy fall within Dr. Brown’s area of expertise. Dr. Brown examines and fits for contact
lenses for both recreational use and medical need. In addition to his work here in Bronxville, Dr. Brown shares an
office in Teaneck, N.J. with his father and brothers, also ophthalmologists, where he serves as Chief of Ophthalmology
at Holy Name Hospital.
Niel Squillante, M.D.
Dr. Niel Squillante is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical and surgical treatment of the retina.
Dr. Squillante received his medical degree from State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center and performed an
ophthalmology residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. He went on to complete a retinal fellowship at the Wilmer
Ophthalmic Institute at John Hopkins. Dr. Squillante treats a wide range of retinal disease, including but not limited
to diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration, having great success with the newest medical advances in age related
macular disease. Additionally, Dr. Squillante is a retinal surgeon, a laser specialist, fluent in Italian and prides
himself on his personal connection with each patient.
